Almost exactly a year ago, the Tampa Bay area was galvanizing around the release of the title track for Zulu Wave’s sophomore LP, Jagorilla.

Today, as we watch the rest of the country prepare to say “goodbye” to the season over Labor Day weekend, the St. Pete avant-pop outfit is here to remind us that we’re still in the swing of a sweltering, sweaty Sunshine State summer.

At least, that’s what it looks like in Zulu Wave’s new clip for “So Cool”— the sixth track off of the aforementioned album. Directed by Zach Howard, the five-minute affair takes place on a catamaran and is basically a boozy boat ride in and out of the seemingly infinite stretches of intercostal highway we get to live with every day. There’s a lot of beach action, boobs, and even (golf) balls. It’s a hell of a time, serving the song’s lyrics — which teeter on the dark side — pretty well.

Watch below, and listen to the whole LP at Bandcamp
