A few music happenings taking place this Sun., Aug. 30. Breakdown below...

Ol’ Dirty Sundays with Cousin Cole, Mr. Marley Cousin Cole is a DJ/producer who hails from NYC and has remixed everyone from Pharrell (his reggae remix of “Happy” has more than 600 million hits on YouTube) to Michael Jackson (he has a discofied version of “Love Never Felt So Good”), not to mention producing his own tracks that have been tapped by the likes of Diplo and A-Track. Mr. Marley is co-founder of Brooklyn-based Bastard Jazz Recordings, and showcases his eclectic taste via vinyl-only mixes touching on hip hop, Miami bass, soul and even a little rock n’ roll. Both join resident tastemakers Casper and LeSage at the decks for Tampa Bay's favorite hip hop dance party. (Crowbar, Ybor City)

Tribal Seeds with The Expanders, Arise Roots On their final jaunt of 2015, the “Summer Smoke Out Tour,” Cali’s heady roots-dub reggae rockers Tribal Seeds continue to pump 2014 fourth full-length, Representing, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Reggae Charts and likely spurred their “Artist of the Year” nomination from the 2015 San Diego Music Awards. (Jannus Live, St. Petersburg)
