Traditionally, the U.S. has released new albums on Tuesdays, with UK records dropping the day before, Japan on Wednesdays, and Germany and Australia on Fridays. However, the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry — a trade group that reps upwards of 1,300 international record labels — has finally determined a date that more than 45 countries will shift to, so that there will be a single global release for new albums. This starts next Friday, July 10.

This means, dear readers, that New Music Tuesday will be shifting formats. Instead of a curated list of what's out, we'll offer a curated look at videos created for already-dropped 2015 LPs, singles off forthcoming LPs, remixes, and anything else that's fresh. We'll also offer a condensed peek at what's to come on Friday. In the meantime, enjoy the days of old below, a breakdown of what's out that you want to know about and some others you may never have heard of, with info, hyperlinks, audio and video included for your time-passing pleasure.

August Burns Red, Found In Far Away Places (Fearless)

Bassnectar, Into The Sun (Amorphous Music)
The producer with bass chops (also known as Lorin Ashton) presents an LP of reworked songs from 2005 album Mesmerizing The Ultra, and touches on rock, funk, electro, hip hop, trap and bass music. He pairs the 16-track album of remixes and previously-unreleased originals with a full-length 70-minute bonus mixtape, dubbed Mixtape 13. His words from the release: "Mixtapes are fun playgrounds for me because there are no rules... You're basically sampling anything and mixing everything together with abandon. It's like a big fucking sonic collage." Check out a five-song playlist below.

Bilal, In Another Life (eOne Music)

C. Gibbs, C.Gibbs Sings Motherwell Johnston (Eastern Spurs Recordings)

Dew-Scented, Intermination (Prosthetic Records)

Elitist, Elitist (Equal Vision Records)

Failure, The Heart Is A Monster (InGrooves/In Residence)

Jaill, Brain Cream (Burger)

Jeen, Tourist (Deluxe) (self-release)
The Toronto songstress (full name Jeen O’Brien) provides vocals in Cookie Duster with Brendan Canning (Broken Social Scene) but has her own melody-drenched pop sound mean to evoke "the golden age of indie rock and MTV's 120 Minutes, where both fans of 4AD and Veruca Salt could come together to find some common ground." This deluxe edition of her Canada release features four bonus tracks. Listen to the toothy "Buena Vista" below. Are we having fun yet? Rawr.
JOBS, killer BOB sings (New Amsterdam)

LA Priest, Inji (Domino)

Man Overboard, Heavy Love (Rise Records)

Matt Pond PA, The State Of Gold (Doghouse America Inc.)

Miguel, Wildheart (RCA)

Meek Mill, Dreams Worth More Than Money (Atlantic)

The Mixtapes, #1 (self-release)
The trio made up of Hymn for Her with Justin Kaiser from Sarasota rock n' roll outfit Go Man. Read more about it here.

Mocky, Key Change (Heavy Sheet)
I don't even know how exactly to classify the music of this Canadian multi-instrumental producer — downtempo sample-strewn folk-tronica with a sort of Burt Baccarat/Lemon Jelly appeal and easy-sexy groove orientations? That's the best way to describe first instrumental single, at least. Listen to "Whistlin'" for yourself below.
Alden Penner, Canada in Space EP (City Slang Records)
All I can hear when listening to "Breathe to Burn"— the first single off this new EP from ex-The Unicorns member — is Pink Floyd. Then his silky falsetto kicks in and I feel a sigh coming on. There are multiple parts. Fast, slow. It's long, and lovely. According to Penner, "There is a large proportion of Canadians represented in the planned Mars colony. The Canada in Space EP is an imagining of the dreams, reveries, phantasms, hallucinations, psycho-spiritual projections, naïve mythologies, actions, visions and experiences of an abandoned crew before, during and after its permanent journey to Mars; the compression of time; dispersion, fragmentation of states and generations in space; ultimate detachment & wormholes.” Heady. Check out "Breathe to Burn" below.
Refused, Freedom (Epitaph)

Senses Fail, Pull the Thorns From Your Heart (Pure Noise)

Slightly Stoopid, Meanwhile Back at the Lab (MRI)

Vince Staples, Summertime '06 (Blacksmith/Atrium/Def Jam)

Stevie StoneMalta Bend (Strange Music)

Tyga, The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty (Last Kings Music)

The Velvet Teen, All Is Illusory (Top Shelf Records)
The first album in nine years from the LA-based act that evokes Radiohead, U2 and Travis without sounding quite like any of them, their style equal parts alt pop jangle and indie rock grunge-fizz with chamber and electronic hues. The follow-up to 2006’s Cum Laude! was recorded and co-produced by Steve Choi (Rx Bandits, Peace'd Out) and Roger Camero (No Motiv, Peace'd Out). Check out "The Giving In" below.
Joy Williams, Venus (Columbia)
The Civil Wars former steps out with a solo LP.

Wavves x Cloud Nothings, No Life for Me (Ghost Ramp)
Surprise! A collab by two grimy garage rock bands. Listen to "No Life for Me" below. WIN WIN, Primaries (Arts & Crafts)
RIYL: Animal Collective, Jamaican Queens, Tune-Yards. Weird, psychedelic, made up of organic and electronic textures, bright, intriguing. Check out the cool video for "Been So Long" below. X AmbassadorsVHS (KIDinaKORNER/Interscope Records)

Neil Young + Promise of the Real, The Monsanto Years (Reprise)
The 36th studio LP from Young is a concept album that criticizes agribusiness Monsanto, and is a collab with Willie Nelson's sons Lukas and Micah with the former's bandmates in Promise of the Real.
