The Memorial Weekend party celebrating Wolf-Face’s anniversary (three years together in 2015) has expanded to a big ol’ 600 Block blow-out replete with suds, grub and sets by a slew of Florida bands that join the Teen Wolf punk rockers in much gleefully ass-kicking revelry and furry cavorting. Burgatory Fest 2015 + The PBR Burger Bash kicks off in the late afternoon with Pabst Blue Ribbon providing free burgers (both beef and vegetarian opetions) to all the early bird arrivals. Amid the highlights of the 14-band lineup — locally-brewed Career (the crushing quartet formerly known as Ink & Sweat); Gainesville’s Sunshine State, a crunchy punk n’ roll project featuring Against Me! former Warren Oakes; and grungy dissonant post-hardocore three-piece Buffalo Buffalo, from Tallahassee. Of course, Wolf-Face dominates with both were presence and live power, and close out the festivities with their raucously howling good times.
