My Morning Jacket will release their seventh studio album, The Waterfall on May 4. After unveiling the single "Big Decisions" earlier this month, the group just dropped a preview video that gives us a glimpse of four more songs from the forthcoming album: “Spring (Among the Living)”, “Compound Fracture”, “Believe (Nobody Knows)”, and “Get the Point”.
Interspersed with some gorgeous footage from the album's recording in Stinson Beach, CA, the sampled tracks seem like a return to basics for the band, who’ve definitely stretched their creative legs, for better or worse, over the past few years. In addition to The Waterfall, Jim James recently said the band recorded enough songs for an additional album, which will come sometime in 2016.
