Two days, nearly a dozen blues-rooted artists, and all manner of fare caught fresh from the sea — yup, it’s the Clearwater Sea-Blues Fest. The ninth annual edition proves more appealing than ever.

A pre-fest Blues Walk restaurant crawl kicks off the weekend on Friday, each featured dining spot on and around Cleveland Street hosting blues-fueled tunes throughout the evening. On Saturday, Philly’s poignant soul-folk singer-songwriter Amos Lee leads the festivities, with highlights in Chicago multi-instrumental bluesman Otis Taylor and fiery up-and-coming guitarist-singer Jarekus Singleton. Robert Randolph & The Family Band bring Sunday’s sounds to a resounding, sacred steel-fueled funk n’ gospel-soulful close as led by its pedal steel-wielding namesake after Robben Ford lays down some consummate guitar licks and fusion-fried rock n' roll.
