It's the day before Thanksgiving and you know what that means: time to get down with your bad self. Because, you know, you've got Thursday off. Theoretically. Live music highlights below...

Santoros with Psychomagic This Pre-Turkey Day throwdown features sets by two intriguing and rather eclectic acts from the West Coast. LA-by-way-of-Mexico septet Santoros serves up raw unhinged surf-garage sounds driven by three guitars and littered with tripped-out folk flotsam. Portland five-piece Psychomagic pits snotty-sweet vocals that rise to vibrato-warbling coos against a rather vibrant, jangly-weird mix of psychedelia, surf rock and ‘60s-hued garage pop. (New World Brewery, Ybor City)

Lil Boosie with Webbie Shortly after his parole, Lil Boosie hit the road and stopped at the Amelie Arena with Yo Gotti this past June. This tour around, the high-toned Southern rapper behind “Wipe Me Down” scales back the venue size and comes bearing a new mixtape, Life After Deathrow, as well as a different warm-up act, fellow Baton Rouge, La. hip hop artist and sometime collaborator Webbie; the latter’s 2007 No. 1 Raps Chart hit, “Independent,” featured Boosie and Lil Phat. (Jannus Live, St. Petersburg)

ODS Drunken Turkey Party with The Rukus, Samurai Shotgun, Jinx, and DJs Blenda, Fader, Deacon, Qeys, Casper and LeSage The regular hosts of Ol’ Dirty Sundays, DJs Casper and LeSage, stage their third annual day-before-giving-thanks party with three heavy duty local hip hop acts taking the stage (along with a slew of TBA guests) and high-quality taste-making DJs joining them behind the decks. Crowbar deep-fries three turkeys to serve up to attendees and soak up all the alcohol that’ll likely be flowing so freely on this night. (Crowbar, Ybor City)

Keep Classic Party with Twelve’len, Ryan Luthor, Matiks, Apallo, Mickey Spixx, CLEW, CattyWomp, Trippy A Midd, Holyman, Bonesaw, Abstract Machine A big lineup of indie bands hit Studio@620 and bring a range of electro-hued sounds, from the lightly scuffed and skewed pop grooves of Miami’s Twelve’len, to the quick-speed raps of goofy yet stylish alt-hip hop artist Ryan Luthor. The $10 admission includes a free beer for all attendees 21 and over. (Studio@620, St. Petersburg)
