What distinguishes Joyce Manor from all the other pop-punk bands exploding out of Southern California with something to prove? The foursome has been earning all sorts of buzz since signing to Epitaph last year and issuing a third full-length, Never Hungover Again, in July. The LP has earned Joyce Manor all sorts of accolades from, among others, NPR (“a confident, focused record that still gleefully indulges in pick scrapes and fast three-chord songs”), Pitchfork (“the optimal balance of maturity and immaturity”), and even Rolling Stone, which named Joyce Manor one of their “10 New Artists You Need to Know” in August. Louder, brasher Seattle-bred punk trio The Exquisites and the gentler pop-lush Des Ark, led by the rich and pretty coos of singer-songwriter Aimée Argote. 7 p.m., Epic Problem, 4215 E. Columbus Drive, Tampa, $12.
