Tori Amos spent her 51st birthday with a crowd of fans in tiaras and feather headbands this past Friday night at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater.
While the coke-bottle glasses may have belied the fact that this was her 17th tour, she still sounded like she did when I was in high school, and she hadn't lost a bit of her sultriness or charm.
Alternating seamlessly between piano and organ, often playing both at the same time, she owned the stage for two glorious hours.
The show was opened by folksy duo Trevor Moss and Hannah Lou.
