Thank god it's Friday. Here's some music that's happening all over Tampa Bay tonight.

OFF! with Gay Kiss Seething, roiling and raging through potent, muscular, to-the-point odes is LA’s Off!, a hardcore punk supergroup made up of Black Flag/Circle Jerks vocalist Keith Morris, Rocket From The Crypt drummer Mario Rubalcaba, Burning Brides guitarist/frontman Dimitri Coats and Redd Kross bassist Steven McDonald. The foursome is on the road behind a third album that dropped in January, Wasted Years. (Local 662, St. Petersburg)

Black Tongue I imagine that if you’re in a deathcore band, the first place you seek name ideas is a medical encyclopedia under “diseases and conditions.” UK-bred downtempo doomcore outfit Black Tongue chose the dark n’ hairy build-up of bacteria in the mouth to represent their nightmarish metallic-crushed sounds. (Epic Problem, Tampa)

Brad Paisley with Randy Houser, Leah Turner, Dee Jay Silver Someone recently told my cousin he looks like Brad Paisley, which, despite his hating country music (and the comparison not necessarily being true), has inflated his head a bit. ‘Cause Paisley is a looker, if you like that small upper lip thang with your country twang. Paisley also has a curio cabinet full of shiny awards (including four Grammys), nine studio LPs (the last seven No. 1 charters), and a 10th on the way (Moonshine in the Trunk, due out Aug. 26 via Arista Nashville). (MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre, Tampa)

Hail Dale Pale Ale Release Party with Archaic Interest, Buffalo Wizards The latest band-beer collaboration, Hail Dale Pale Ale, was concocted at JDub's Brewing Company & Tap Room in Sarasota, the psych garage trio’s hometown. This keg-tapping celebration is free, and Hail Dail performs, as do two other noteworthy area acts, skuzzy droning acid/surf rockers Archaic Interest, and folkadelic five-piece Buffalo Wizards. (New World Brewery, Ybor City)

The Swanky Summer Soiree with Green Sunshine, Ajeva The invite promises “More funk than your booty can possibly handle” from the hip hop vibing eight-piece jam collective Green Sunshine, with support from reggae-rock grooving Ajeva. This live music throwdown also doubles as a birthday party for three Green Sunshine members: Momma Bone, Mojo Wheeler, and Optimus Rhyme. (Ringside Café, St. Petersburg)

Thee Sammy Davis Jr. Band with Horses Wild, The Bloody Jug Band, Ober Rivers & His d.u.i.s. A bill of rootsy, twangy, grassy sounds headed up by Thee Sammy Davis Jr. Band, which tout an “original outlaw country rock” sound and hail from Largo. Also of note: The Bloody Jug Band, an eight-piece making dark and swampy Americana in jug band fashion, with a mix of real instruments (guitars, mandolin, banjo, percussion) and made ones (washtub bass, jug, spoons). (State Theatre, St. Petersburg)
