The City of St. Petersburg is seeking engaged citizens to serve on its Bicycle & Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC), which helps advise St. Pete Mayor Ken Welch and his administration regarding infrastructure improvements, educational programs and events related to walking and bicycling access and safety. BPAC was formed after the St. Petersburg City Council adopted the CityTrails Plan in 2003 and has actively been involved in discussions that impact the city's transportation system and the safety of those involved in it, including bikers.
