Gio Swaby, a multidisciplinary Bahamian artist currently based in Toronto, is showing her largest variety of work displayed to date at the Museum of Fine Arts, St. Petersburg from now until Oct. 9. The exhibit, titled, “Fresh Up” is Swaby’s first solo museum exhibit, named after a celebratory Bahamian phrase which is often used to describe someone who is looking particularly stylish.
