The sold-out, May 25 show from Suicide Silence is the final concert at Orpheum in Ybor, and Emo Night Brooklyn’s Friday, May 27 dance party is the last time doors will open at 1915 E 7th Ave. Orpheum owner Jerry "Lazy" Dufrain told Creative Loafing Tampa Bay that he fully expects the new location—at 14802 N Nebraska Ave. in Tampa, a five-minute walk from Skipper’s Smokehouse—to be ready for a soft-opening when California punk band Destroy Boys plays on June 11.
