The folks behind King State—Tampa’s go-to spot for craft coffee and beer—are finally ready to celebrate the grand opening of their new brewery and taproom across the bridge. The Brutalist and its taproom counterpart Temple of Beer, located at 1776 11th Ave. in St. Petersburg, will host its first party on Saturday, May 21 at noon. Alongside live music provided by Tampa acts Alien House (which recently hosted its listening party at King State) and Notsew, made-to-order pizzas from Luna Rossa Cucina Rustica and exclusive bottle and can releases will fuel the partygoers until who knows how long.
