Your grandparents may not know Steve Tyrell's name, but they’ll know the songs. The 77-year-old has produced for Rod Stewart and the late B.J. Thomas, and also recorded the version of “The Way You Look Tonight” you hear in Charles Shyer’s “Father of the Bride.” Not to mention that if you’ve been to the L.A. area, you may have heard Tyrell’s voice hosting KKJZ 88.1-FM on weekdays. Tyrell will be behind a different mic this weekend for this Sunday matinee at Clearwater's Ruth Eckerd Hall that’s a good excuse to make it a boomer’s day out.
