A Sarasota man pleaded guilty Tuesday to sending an email threatening to kill U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., the U.S. Department of Justice said. David Hannon, 67, of Sarasota, entered the plea before U.S. Magistrate Judge Christopher P. Tuite to a charge of threatening a federal official.
