John Mayer’s new album, "Sob Rock," finally emerged over the summer, and the 44-year-old songwriter and guitarist is bringing it to Tampa for a show at Amalie Arena next week. Mayer was supposed to have performed with Dead and Company last October at MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre, but due to “routing and production logistics” (cough cough DeSantis’ ban on vaccine requirements), shows in both Tampa and West Palm Beach ended up getting outright canceled.
