Hey, look – it’s another free show from your friends at 97X! There is no way you’re surprised, because the alt rock station has been regularly bringing the bands on its airwaves to town and offering free admission for years now. The 97X Shindig 2015 features Aussie folk-pop warbler Vance Joy, the artist behind emotive ukulele-powered coming-of-age track, “Riptide” (apparently the longest-charting song in ARIA Charts history). Gritty alt pop songstress Meg Myers rounds out the Shindig 2015 bill. Though it’s free, you need a hard ticket to get in — and if you didn't score one at one of the “ticket drop” locations, I don't really know how to tell you to get in.
